CAD/CAM Materials for Precise, Efficient, and Reliable Digital Dental Manufacturing
Digital dental manufacturing requires materials that combine reliable processing, consistent quality, and suitability for the intended restoration. Heimerle + Meule offers a versatile selection of CAD/CAM materials for crowns, bridges, long-term temporary restorations, dentures, splints, frameworks, and other dental laboratory applications.
The portfolio includes cobalt-chromium milling blanks, high-performance thermoplastic materials, and zirconia discs in different colors, translucency levels, and dimensions. Technical support helps dental laboratories select suitable materials and coordinate them with the respective milling and finishing process.
CAD/CAM Materials at a Glance
Cobalt-Chromium Soft Blanks
System Soft-Blank is a cobalt-based, non-precious metal dental milling alloy with a homogeneous material structure and consistent hardness across the entire blank. The material offers reliable machinability and supports indications ranging from individual crowns to full-arch restorations. It is biocompatible, corrosion-resistant, and designed for use with high-fusing ceramics.
High-Performance Polymers
The DentalPlus portfolio includes high-performance thermoplastic materials characterized by homogeneous material structures and broad application options. Eldy Plus® is available for applications such as long-term temporary restorations, crowns, bridges, frameworks, dentures, and splints. Additional materials include Polyan Plus for partial and full dentures, Dentalos Plus for crown and bridge applications, and the PMMA Economic Line for splints and additional laboratory indications.
Zirconia Discs
The priti®multidisc ZrO2 portfolio includes zirconia discs for open milling systems with a 98.5 mm holder. Depending on the indication, laboratories can choose from white, monochromatic, and multicolor options as well as six different translucency classifications. The priti®MPguide supports shade selection and accurate positioning within multicolor zirconia discs.
Zirconia Options
Multi Translucent Plus: Graduated translucency from above 49% to approximately 45%.
Multi Translucent: Graduated translucency from above 49% to approximately 40%.
High Translucent: High translucency for selected esthetic restorations.
Extra Translucent: A combination of translucency and high flexural strength.
Translucent: A versatile material for a broad range of indications.
Opaque: Reduced translucency for cases requiring greater masking ability.
