Women's Basketball Bundesliga (Division 1)
Rutronik Stars Keltern is a leading women’s basketball team competing in Germany’s top division, the 1. Damen-Basketball-Bundesliga. Based within FC Nöttingen and playing its home games in Keltern, the club combines elite competition with a strong regional identity. Multiple German championships, national cup titles, and regular appearances in the EuroCup Women underline its established position in national and European women’s basketball overall.
1. CfR Pforzheim
Baden-Württemberg Oberliga Soccer
1. CfR Pforzheim is a multi-sport club with deep roots in the city’s football tradition. Its first men’s team competes in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg, while the club also develops young players through its dedicated academy structures. In addition to men’s, women’s, and junior football, the organization includes further sporting activities and an inclusion department, bringing competitive sport, youth development, and community participation together.
SG Pforzheim-Eutingen
Handball 3rd Division
SG Pforzheim/Eutingen is a performance-oriented handball club that combines competitive senior sport with professionally structured youth development. The men’s team competes in Germany’s 3. Liga, while the club’s youth teams play at high regional and national levels. Cooperation with schools and kindergartens, voluntary engagement, and social initiatives complement its sporting program and strengthen handball across Pforzheim and the surrounding region.
Wilddogs Pforzheim
German Football League
The Pforzheim Wilddogs are an independent American football club with teams for different ages and levels of experience. The program ranges from contact-free flag football for younger players to youth tackle football, two senior teams, and competition in the German Football League. Founded in 1990 and established in Pforzheim since 2000, the club combines performance, team spirit, youth development, and a strong connection to the city and surrounding region.
Goldstadt United
State Basketball League
Goldstadt United brings together Pforzheim’s basketball community in a joint organization created by local clubs. Its teams range from introductory programs and youth basketball to women’s and men’s competition, providing development opportunities across different ages and performance levels. Shared structures, qualified coaching, and clearly defined values support athletic and personal growth while strengthening basketball’s visibility and long-term future in the city.
Jugend forscht
"Jugend forscht" Foundation, e. V.
The Jugend forscht Pforzheim/Enz regional competition encourages young people to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through original research projects. Participants present their work to a specialist jury and gain experience in developing and communicating ideas. Organized by Wirtschaft und Stadtmarketing Pforzheim with Pforzheim University and Witzenmann, the competition identifies talent and supports the region’s next generation of innovators.
Kulturhaus Osterfeld
Cultural and Communication Center in Pforzheim
Kulturhaus Osterfeld is the largest cultural and communication center in the Pforzheim region and provides a platform for independent art, culture, and theater. Its program includes theater productions, music, comedy, cabaret, exhibitions, literature, dance, cinema, courses, and community activities. Working with regional partners, groups, and initiatives, the center creates space for creative participation, cultural exchange, education, and social interaction.
